The Toolbox 🧰

🌫 ZeroBlur

Have you ever recorded a product demo, live streamed on twitch, create video for your YouTube channel just to realize it exposes sensitive data, like personal emails or API Keys? It happens all the time if you're making a video for any purpose.

ZeroBlur helps you blur out the part of screen you don't want to be seen by others and did I say it's FREE to use. So, the next time you're recording make sure to use ZeroBlur and save some critical time for your video editor.

Simplify Gmail is a browser extension that boosts productivitystrengthens privacy, and reduces️ stress. It blocks over 250+ spy trackers, dark mode support, keyboard shortcuts and so much more, created by Michael Leggett who was on gmail team.

I've tried this, it just amazingly well and overall, a very well thought out product. I personally admire founders who're ethical and it seems that the founder is a big privacy advocate after working at both google and facebook.

Nudge saves you from wasting time online with smart, beautiful interventions inspired by psychology - this tool right here is game changer, by Louis Barclay.

Nudge blocks sites you've asked it to block, it stops autoplay on youtube, let's you see the time you're spending on a site, it also reminds you if you're scrolling endlessly.

🔑 Dashlane

Dashlane is a subscription-based password manager that comes with not only a browser extension but it's also available on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android.

A password manager can be a life saver, I still remember when I first found out such thing exists - to me, it was so shocking and I gave dashlane a try and have been using it ever since. Now, you just have to remember one single master password to use it all.

As always, you can always write to me if you have any suggestions or  feedback @fardeenxyz or simply reply to this email.

Have a great weekend ✌️
